Morton:  Clark's Settlement and East Kendall (1894 was official name change in honor of Hon. Levi P. Morton)

Kendall Mills:   Webster's Mills (Ose Webster was first permanent settler of "Webster's Mills")

Kendall:  North Murray/Kendall Corners (established in 7 April 1837.  The first pioneer came to this area about 1812.  The town was named after Amos Kendall, the U.S.  Postmaster General under Presidents Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren)

Hamlin:  Town of Union. (was renamed in 1861 as the Town of Hamlin in honor of Lincoln's first Vice President Hannibal Hamlin.  Hamlin was initially a part of the town of Northampton. The town of Murray split from Northampton in 1807, and split again into Union and Clarkson on December 14, 1852.)
